Eagle & Crocodile
Photographer and safari guide Mark Sheridan-Johnson captured an amazing sequence of images showing an eagle as it snatches a crocodile from the bank of a river in the Selous Game Reserve. According to ABC, African Fish Eagles typically eat fish and small mammals. Apparently, they’ll also like to dine on baby crocodiles.
The cartoonish design shows the absurdity of this article documenting something, what emerges from our general view of the world and seems no longer real to us. I designed a new cycle of nature, where the crocodile eats a flower, but is snapped by an Eagle who feeds him to an intergalactic flower, which itself again is eaten by an intergalactic crocodile. Now, again, we are at the beginning of the story and it repeats itself again from scratch. Thus one cycle of life is pictured, just as bizarre and weird as the article itself.
